Jet2 has reassured customers that they will see no changes to their hand luggage allowance as Europe moves towards new rules designed to make air fares and baggage allowances easier to understand.
The new measures are designed to give passengers greater transparency around cabin baggage allowances across the airline industry.
Jet2 customers already receive a free 10kg hand luggage allowance as standard, alongside a personal item, giving customers certainty about what is included from the moment they book.
According to Jet2, 80 per cent of customers say the inclusion of 10kg of free hand luggage is a key reason they choose to fly with Jet2.
