EXODUS Adventure Travels has launched an emergency fundraising appeal to support communities affected by the devastating floods that struck Nepal’s Bhote Koshi valley on August 26, 2026.
The appeal, through the Exodus Travels Foundation, will match donations up to £10,000 and cover all administration costs, ensuring 100 per cent of public donations go directly towards relief and recovery efforts.
The flooding swept away homes, roads and bridges, leaving more than 10,000 households in need of urgent assistance. While Exodus Adventure Travels’ local leaders and partners are safe, many communities across the region have been severely impacted, with some villages still inaccessible.
Funds raised through the Exodus Travels Foundation Nepal Disaster Response Appeal will support disaster response efforts through REACT and its humanitarian partners, helping aid reach remote and vulnerable communities affected by the floods. This may include supporting the delivery of essential supplies to isolated villages, assisting local responders and contributing to longer-term recovery efforts in the months ahead.
Kasia Morgan, Head of Sustainability at Exodus Adventure Travels, said: “Nepal has been at the heart of the Exodus story for more than 50 years, and our thoughts are with the communities affected by these devastating floods. While we are grateful that our local leaders and partners are safe, many families have lost homes, infrastructure and vital access routes. Through the Exodus Travels Foundation, we are asking our community to come together to support those most affected. By matching donations up to £10,000, we hope to maximise the impact of every contribution and help communities access the support they urgently need.”
