NEW research has revealed the most beautiful hot springs in the world, a must addition to your winter travel bucket list.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, in Iceland, is number one in the world in the research from Bathroom and Plumbing supplier QS Supplies https://www.qssupplies.co.uk
The Blue Lagoon has a beauty score of 6.79 out of ten, with Travertine Hot Springs in the USA coming second with a score of 5.39. Travertine Hot Springs, California, had the highest TripAdvisor score (4.5) out of the USA locations featured.
In third place in the world’s top ten is Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Turkey, followed by Hammam, Al Andalus Baths, Spain; Bagby Hot Springs, USA; Chena Hot Springs, also USA; Terme Di Saturnia, Italy; Termas Geometricas, Chile; Ma’in Hot Springs, Jordan; and Szechenyi, Hungary.
Out of the full list of hot springs featured within the study, Japan has the highest number of hot springs listed (6), although USA has the most number of locations in the top 10.
If the most beautiful location is what you’re after, then Bagby Hot Springs in Oregon, received the most reviews featuring the word ‘beautiful’.
Olympic Hot Springs in Washington, also made the list of the most beautiful hot springs in the world – finishing in 26th place.
